Job Description:

We are currently seeking an individual to join our team that is self-driven with previous experience working with clients as they move through the proposal and buying process. The individual will need to be able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders (sales, SOC resources and Management), as well as, our clients regarding system security architecture, solution value and technical viability. Presentation skills are required along with deep knowledge of Information Security technologies. The ability to generate deliverables for client consumption is a must and the ability to travel is required.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Sales Engineer will work with customers via email, WebEx and onsite understanding the client’s current environment, developing solutions that meet their requirements, presenting the value of the solution and working with the customer on any ancillary technical issues. Post-sale the Sales Engineer will perform an Asset Criticality Assessment at the customers location. The Sales Engineer will be the technical conscience for the supported sales team. It is expected they will work closely with our SOC team to become a field facing subject matter expert.

  • Present products or solutions that would be beneficial to our client’s business
  • Plan detailed presentations that show clients product info, pricing, and benefits
  • Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully sell them
  • Participate in the delivery of sold products
  • Meet with clients at appointments for sales presentations
  • Generate SOWs and other deliverables for presentation to clients
  • Size and generate customer architectures that meet gathered requirements
  • Demo product solutions to clients
  • Train the sales team on Info Sec best practices and new technologies
  • Perform customer Asset Criticality Assessments
  • Work in a team environment
Desired Background / Skillset:
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, networking, domains, and enterprise applications
  • Experience with operation or sales of SIEMs (RSA, Splunk, Microsoft, Sumo Logic and LogRhythm), EDR (RSA, Microsoft, Carbon Black and Crowdstrike) and Vulnerability Management a plus.
  • Previous experience presenting solutions to customers.
  • Previous experience as a solution architect
  • Previous experience demoing solutions to customers.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with internal and external customers while working on other complex issues or tasks
  • Experience working in environments with compliance standards such as HIPPA, PCI, or other security compliance standards
Desired Education Level:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
